Alex Valderana is a seasoned video editor with over a decade of experience across film, television and digital media. He has worked with major networks including VICE Media, BET, Paramount, Comedy Central, and MTV—where he served as Producer/Editor for MTV International’s Digital team. Most recently, Alex serves as an interim Senior Video Editor for NJPBS’ show NJ Spotlight News.
As a narrative editor, Alex has shaped stories across multiple genres, from all three seasons of the web series Nightwing: Escalation and its spinoff Catwoman: Ataraxia (dir. Kristen Seavey), to the horror-comedy short Halloween Wager (dir. Ray Gootz) and the documentary Flint…For Those Who Dare (dir. Raul Barquet), which completed its film festival run in 2023. He also recently directed and edited the short film Disclosure (prod. Raul Barquet & Jared DiCroce), now on the film festival circuit. Alex is currently in pre-production for an horror short slated to be shot in 2026.
